VIA EPIA M10000 officially announced
Today’s EPIA M10000 mobo from VIA Technologies is not that unfamiliar to our readers, as we have already posted about it late in February. Still this solution is worth another, detailed mention, becoming available for masses.
VIA EPIA M10000 is an integrated solution with a fixed 1GHz VIA C3 (Nehemiah core) with small cooling system.

4-layer Mini-ITX (170x170 mm) board features VIA Apollo CLE266 chipset (VIA UniChrome CLE266 Northbridge with int. MPEG-2 graphics + VT8235 Southbridge), 6-ch.VIA Vinyl Six-TRAC Audio (VIA VT1616), IEEE1394 Firewire (VT6307S) and USB2.0, 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet (VT6103), S-Video, TV-out (VT1622), S/PDIF out, PCI slot. 1Gb DDR266 SDRAM is supported. The noise is leveled at 35-50dBA.
And finally, currently at the company website VIA EPIA M10000 costs $199. I guess the actual price will be lower as in February it was planned to be $179.
