Logitec LDR-P22U2 and LDR-P22F/M: new external DVD-R/RW drives
Logitec released an external USB2.0/1.1 DVD-R/RW drive — LDR-P22U2 – that supports 2x DVD burning/reburning. CD writing is 16õ, rewriting — 8õ; DVD read — 8õ, CD read — 24õ.
Measured 145x160x24mm, the drive weighs about 400g.
Mac users will be able to buy an IEEE1394 model supporting Mac OS 9.1 — 9.2.2/Mac OS X 10.1.5 — 10.2.5. Its style and specs are identical to the PC model. Both drives will appear for sale in May for $368.
