ASUS P8NBX = NVIDIA nForce3 Pro + AMD Opteron
South Korean Darkcrow posted the first photos of the new (and seems the only for now) NVIDIA nForce3 Pro-based Socket 940 board for AMD Opteron processors ASUS P8NBX.
NVIDIA nForce3 Professional is a chipset for single-CPU workstations on 64-bit AMD Opteron processors supporting both 32-bit, and 64-bit modes. Besides, combines North and South bridges in a single chip, being NVIDIA’s first single-chip motherboard solution. The current nForce 3 Pro 150 supports 10/100 BaseT Ethernet/Fast Ethernet, ACR and CNR, ACPI 2.0, RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 3 Ultra ATA-133 channels, 6 USB2.0 ports (OHCI), AGP8x (optimized for NVIDIA Quadro), PCI. nForce 3 Pro 250, expected in Fall, will support 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet, 4 Serial ATA ports and 2 ATA-133 channels.
