Fujitsu announced a new series of mobile 2.5" high-end hard drives, MHT20xxAH.
It provides 5400rpm rotation that should reduce the average seek time by 22% vs. older 4200rpm Fujitsu MHT20xxAT series, according to the press release. Besides, new models have larger 8Mb buffer vs. previous 2Mb. Currently MHT20xxAH series includes 40/60/80Gb models. - 40/60/80Gb capacity
- 12ms average seek
- 100Mb/s throughput
- 8Mb buffer
- 10.7Gbit/cm² (69Gbit/in.²) max. data density
- 225G (2ms) operating shock protection; up to 900G (1ms) standby shock protection
- 5V±5% voltage
- 2.3W read/write, 0.25W standby, 0.85W idle energy consumption
