Joybook 5000: the first Centrino-based notebook from BenQ
BenQ announced the first (bearing the proprietary trademark) notebook series on Intel Centrino. BenQ Joybook 5000 feature the new deisgn and longer, up to 6 hours, operation.

BenQ Joybook 5000 series currently includes three models: Joybook 5000-E01, E02 and E04. They feature 14.1" 1024x768 XGA LCD displays with 200cd/m² brightness as well as all of the Centrino components (1.3GHz – 1.5GHz Intel Pentium M, i855 chipset, Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 802.11b WLAN), 32Mb ATi Mobile Radeon 9000 graphics, 256Mb DDR, 30-40Gb HDDs, DVD/CD-RW drives, interfaces, including USB2.0, IEEE 1394, PCMCIA, SD/MMC/MS card reader.
The standard battery capacity is 64 watt-hours. Notebook dimensions are 265x320x31mm, weight – 2.4kg.
