Zalman ZM-2HC1 HDD cooling system: details
Some days ago we posted the first photo of ZM-2HC1 (SystemNP Heatpipe HDD), a new HDD cooling system from Korean Zalman. Today we can offer some technical details.
Zalman SystemNP Heatpipe HDD passive cooling reduces the HDD heating as well as noise and vibration. The package includes 4 aluminium plates, 10 coppoer tubes, 4 rubber dampers, ground wire and screws. The system is designed for usual 3.5" desktop hard drives of standard 101.6x146x25.4/20mm size. Brief specs are:
- 260g weight
- 146x146x36.5mm size
- Alumunium, copper tubes, rubber dampers
- 400cm² cooling surface
Equipped with Zalman ZM-2HC1 cooling, an HDD fits into a usual 5.25" bay or is mounted directly on the case side.
