HP introduces officially four news PDAs: iPAQ h2210, h1940, h5150 and h5550
Today Hewlett-Packard posted a press release introducing a new iPAQ Pocket PC series. The novelties include dual-slot HP iPAQ h2210, thin mainstream HP iPAQ Pocket PC h1940 and top-end HP iPAQ h5150 and h5550.
HP iPAQ h2210 (MSRP $399) working under Microsoft Windows Pocket PC 2003 Premium has 400MHz Intel X-Scale PXA255, 64Mb RAM (56Mb free), 3.5" 240x320 backlit 65536-color LCDl; supports Compact Flash Type II, MultimediaCard and Secure Digital (along with SDIO WLAN 802.11b). Sized 115.4x76.4x15.4mm, it weighs 144.2g. The bundle includes 900mAh Li-Ion battery for about 12 hours of operation.
iPAQ Pocket PC h1940 (MSRP $299) based on 266MHz S3C2410; has 64Mb RAM (56Mb free), SDIO slot and integrated Bluetooth.
HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5150 ($549) and h5550 ($649) under Microsoft Windows Pocket PC 2003 Premium are based on the previous h5450; feature 400MHz Intel X-Scale PXA255, 3.8" 16-bit (65536-color) LCD, integrated Bluetooth, CF, SD/MMC, SDIO slots and higher-capacity 1250mAh batteries.
h5550 has 128Mb RAM, 48Mb ROM, 17Mb of iPAQ File Store, integrated biometric sensor, IEEE802.11b wireless interface. Sized 138x84x15.9mm, it weighs 206.8g.
h5150 differs by 64Mb RAM and 4Mb iPAQ File Store. It doesn’t have a biosensor and its bundle doesn´t include the supported Wi-Fi card. Sized 133x84x15.9mm, it weighs 186.9g.
