Intel cancels production of 1.90GHz Pentium 4-M, 1.80GHz Celeron, etc.
Intel cancelled the production of 9 CPUs, including box and OEM 1.80GHz Celeron and a number of mobile chips.
Orders for 0.18µm 1.80GHz desktop Intel Celerons will end in July 2003, with complete shipments stop in May 2004.
As for the cancelled mobile processors, their list includes: 1.90GHz Mobile Pentium 4-M, 1.26GHz and 1.33GHz Mobile Pentium III-M (µFCPGA and µFCBGA), 1.0GHz LV, 933MHz ULV and 900MHz ULV Mobile Pentium III-M.
The reason for all this is standard: transition to newer and faster processors.
