Thomson Lyra to start selling new MP3/MP3Pro players in the Fall
In August Thomson Multimedia plans to launch sales of its new HDD-based MP3/MP3Pro player belonging to the Lyra series.
PDP2840, based on its PDP2800 predecessor, but featuring larger display and 20Gb HDD. Sized 115x29mm, it will cost about 399 euros.
Closer to September, less expensive and more compact PDP2810 should become available as well. It will feature just a 1.5Gb hard drive. Sized 60x60x30mm, it will weigh 150g and cost 350 euros.
Finally, PDP2860 (on the photo) to be presented in October, will have 3.5" display and support both audio and video. It will cost about 699 euros.
All of the above will support USB2.0 interface and MP3, MP3pro, WMA as compulsory formats.
