Sharp announces PC-MV1-VC3 notebook on Athlon XP-M 1600+
Sharp expanded its MURAMASA series with PC-MV1-VC3 model to arrive for sale on July 26 for slightly over $1500. It differs from the previous PC-MV1-VC1 notebook by Athlon XP-M 1600+ CPU (instead of Athlon XP-M 1500+), S/PDIF out and 3-hour vs. 2.6-hour operation.
The novelty has 256Mb RAM (up to 768Mb), 40Gb HDD, 12.1" LCD, internal DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo, Ethernet LAN, 1 x PC Card Type II slot, 2 x USB2.0 ports, 1 x IEEE1394 port, Windows XP Home Edition. Sized 282x239x26.4~28.7 mm, it weighs about 1.96kg.
