Albatron introduces 256Mb Gigi GeForce FX5900 Turbo graphics card
Today Albatron Technology introduced its new NVIDIA GeForce FX5900-based Gigi GeForce FX5900 Turbo graphics card. It features 256Mb of 256-bit 2.2ns DDR and 410/850MHz GPU/memory clock speeds.
The model has all standard interfaces plus VIVO and is bundled with Power DVD, Power Director and Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project. Similar to other GeForce FX5900-based cards, Gigi GeForce FX5900 Turbo features "Wise Fan" cooling system with "2+1 Backup". Finally, the package is made as corporate case.
The editor of our Video section, Andrew Vorobyev, commented this release: "It seems NVIDIA ships not enough 450MHz GPUs, so most GeForce FX5900 support only 400+MHz making vendors release 256Mb "non-ultra" cards on 400+MHz GPUs".
