Gigabyte GA-7VT600 1394: a novelty on VIA Apollo KT600
Gigabyte Technology announced the new GA-7VT600 1394 mobo on VIA KT600 + VT8237 chipset supporting AMD Athlon XP with up to 400MHz FSB.
GA-7VT600 1394 ATX board supports Socket A processors with 400/333/266/200MHz FSB; features 3 x DIMM sockets for up to 3Gb of DDR400/DDR333/DDR266, 1 x AGP8X/4X slot, 5 x PCI slots, 3 x IEEE1394 (VIA VT6306) ports, Serial ATA (VT8237) RAID interface, Ethernet 10/100Mb LAN (Realtek 8101L), 5.1-ch. AC97 codec (Realtek ALC655), up to 8 x USB2.0 ports. Supported proprietary technologies include DualBIOS, Xpress Install, Xpress Recovery, EasyTune4, @BIOS, Q-Flash.
Along with the top-end GA-7VT600 1394, Gigabyte released GA-7VT600 and GA-7VT600-L models without IEEE1394/Ethernet 10/100Mb LAN and IEEE1394, respectively.
