Korean memory maker, Hynix unveiled 1 Gb DDR2 DRAMs produced using 0.11-mkm technology. As the company says it has already sent 512 Mb DDR2 chips working at 533-667 MHz and appropriate modules to customers for testing and evaluation. Packages of 1 Gb and 512 Mb DDR2 DRAMs are 68-ball FBGA, 60-ball and 84-ball
FBGAs. As it is said the chips conform to JEDEC requirements.
