ASUS Wi-Fi@HOME — new home WLAN platform
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. showcased a platform
for home WLANs, ASUS Wi-Fi@HOME, consisting of three components — ASUS motherboards
supporting the exclusive Wi-Fi slot, the ASUS WiFi-b WLAN card and ASUS Software
AP (access point).

The ASUS WiFi-b WLAN card embraces AP (access point) and Wi-Fi card functionality.
It is an add-on card that links desktop to existing APs and it also bundles
ASUS Software AP to turn the system into the control center of a wireless home
network. (Note: Software AP functions are only available under Windows XP OS)
