NV36=GeForce 5700. Proved by MSI
As our collegaues at Korean DarkCrow
told, at MSI Technical Forum unveiled company’s plans on future VNIDIA GPU-based
videocards. That roadmap shows that NV36 will be called the Geforce FX 5700.
The most impressive thing in the roadmap is frequencies – GPU clock is 500
MHz, Memory clock – 500/100 MHz. New videocards will be equipped with 128 MB
of RAM (DDR2 we guess – although it is not told clearly). MSI confirmed that
GPUs will be produced using 0.13 micron process by IBM. MSI roadmap implies
that the chip will be announced in the middle of September.
