This chip is presented by Hercules 3D Prophet 9000 Pro 64MB, AGP card.

- Peak fill rate in the multitexturing mode is 1100 megapixels/sec and 1100 megatexels/sec.
Overclocks to 310/620 MHz.
By the end of the month the product belongs to the $75-95 range; supports DirectX 8.1; closest rivals: GeForce4 MX440, MX440-8x.

On the 10th of January 2003 the latest drivers from ATI are 6.243, 6.255 and 6.275 for Windows XP.
I shall note there's
Radeon2.ru, web-site that tracks all software novelties from ATI and offers improved drivers versions with preset registry settings for increasing RADEON cards perfomance.
I recommend the latest 6.255 version, as it has numerous quality bugfixes and is stable enough.
Considering that RADEON 9000 supports the same DX81 functions, as RADEON 8500, we won't describe shader performance again, as you can read about it in the RADEON 8500 section.
